The Review of Socio-Economic Perspectives (RSEP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality, editorial integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices. The journal operates through the collaborative efforts of the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Editorial Board, International Editorial Board, Technical Editors, and Production Team.
Editorial Independence
All editorial decisions are made independently and solely on the basis of academic merit, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, methodological rigor, and contribution to the scholarly literature. Editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, institutional affiliations, or personal relationships.
The Editor-in-Chief has ultimate responsibility for the editorial content of the journal and oversees all stages of the publication process.
Scope and Publication Standards
RSEP publishes original research articles, review articles, and other scholarly contributions in the fields of economics, finance, business administration, management, marketing, and related social science disciplines.
Submitted manuscripts must:
- Present original and unpublished research;
- Contribute meaningfully to existing academic literature;
- Follow accepted scientific research methods;
- Be written in clear and academically appropriate English;

Publication Ethics

Authorship and Contributorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the conception or design of the study; the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data; the drafting or critical revision of the manuscript; and the approval of the final version for publication.
All authors must approve the submitted manuscript and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work. Individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged appropriately. Any changes to the author list after submission require the written consent of all authors and the approval of the Editor.
Complaints and Appeals
The journal has procedures for handling complaints and appeals concerning editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, or editorial conduct. Complaints should be submitted to the Editorial Office by email with supporting documentation.
Appeals against editorial decisions are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief and, where appropriate, by independent Editorial Board members who were not involved in the original decision. Decisions following an appeal are final.
Conflicts of Interest / Competing Interests
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that could influence or appear to influence the research or editorial process.
Authors must include a Conflict of Interest Statement in every submission. If no competing interests exist, authors should state: "The authors declare that they have no competing interests."
Editors and reviewers with conflicts of interest must decline participation in the evaluation of the manuscript.
Data Sharing and Reproducibility
The journal encourages authors to make the data, code, and research materials supporting their findings publicly available whenever possible, subject to legal, ethical, or confidentiality restrictions.
Authors should provide information on data availability within the manuscript. When data cannot be shared, the reasons should be clearly explained.
Ethical Oversight
Research involving human participants, personal data, or animals must comply with relevant national and institutional ethical standards.
Where applicable, authors must provide the name of the ethics committee, approval number, and approval date. Research involving human participants must confirm that informed consent was obtained where required.

Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections

Depending on the nature of the issue, the journal may publish:

Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)
The journal recognizes that generative AI tools may assist authors in language editing or improving readability. However, AI tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot assume responsibility or accountability for the published work.
Authors who use generative AI during manuscript preparation must disclose its use in the manuscript, specifying the tool used and the purpose for which it was employed.
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific validity of all submitted content, including any material generated or assisted by AI.
Editors and reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and should not upload confidential manuscript content into publicly available AI systems.
Research Misconduct
The journal investigates allegations of plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, authorship manipulation, image manipulation, peer-review manipulation, and other forms of publication misconduct in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Where misconduct is confirmed, the journal may reject the manuscript, retract the published article, notify relevant institutions, and take any additional actions considered appropriate under COPE recommendations.
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to the journal must ensure that:
- The submitted work is original and has not been published previously.
- The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal at the time of submission.
- All listed authors have made a significant scholarly contribution to the work and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
- All data presented in the manuscript are accurate and honestly reported.

Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for:

- Treating all submissions without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religion, political beliefs, or institutional affiliation.

Reviewers are expected to:
