The intellectual structure and thematic evolution of middleincome trap research: A bibliometric analysis (2009–2025)

Orta gelir tuzağına (MIT) 2007'deki resmi tanıtımından bu yana akademik ve politik ilginin hızla artmasına rağmen, literatür parçalı kalmaya devam ediyor ve entelektüel yapısını veya tematik evrimini sistematik olarak haritalamak için sınırlı çabalar var. Bu çalışma, Web of Science'da indekslenen 385 yayını kapsayan MIT araştırmasının ilk kapsamlı bibliyometrik analizini sunmaktadır (2009–2025). Performans ölçümleri için Bibexcel, ortak yazarlık ve anahtar kelime ağı haritalaması için VOSviewer ve uzunlamasına tematik evrim için SciMAT'ı entegre eden üçgenleştirilmiş bir metodoloji kullanarak çalışma, zaman içinde alanı şekillendiren temel yörüngeleri, bilgi kümelerini ve stratejik değişimleri belirlemektedir. Sonuçlar, yapısal dönüşüm, inovasyon kapasitesi, kurumsal reform ve insan sermayesi geliştirme gibi temalara giderek daha fazla dayanan, Asya ve Latin Amerika'da güçlü bölgesel yoğunlaşma ile dinamik bir araştırma alanı ortaya koymaktadır. Tematik evrim analizi, MIT'nin temel kavramının yeterince teorize edilmemesi ve değişken bir şekilde tanımlanması nedeniyle hem kavramsal olgunlaşmayı hem de kalıcı parçalanmayı göstermektedir. Alanın yapısal dinamiklerini, baskın aktörlerini ve kavramsal boşluklarını ortaya koyarak, bu çalışma akademisyenler için kritik bir yol haritası sunarken, politika yapıcılara uzun vadeli büyüme ve gelişimsel iyileştirme için en alakalı araştırma sınırlarının sağlam bir görünümünü sağlamaktadır.
