Referees don’t know the author and also author don’t know the referees.
If the judgement of one referee is negative, and the second referee result is positive, the article is sent to the third referee. In that case, the third referee’s opinion is to be decisive. If the decision is for revision, the author will be given sufficient time to review comments and revise their manuscript. When submitting the revision, the author must ensure their response and revised manuscript correctly addresses each of the reviewers’ and/or Editors points. The revised manuscript will be re-evaluated by the original handling editor, who will either make an immediate decision or send the manuscript for further peer review prior to making a decision. Editors may request multiple manuscript revisions. The reviewers are independent of the authors, and not affiliated with the same institution.
Two referees examine the study around the scientific reality and trueness. The arbitration process is predicted between 4-6 weeks.
Accepted articles will be published approximetely within 3 months.
